Grants Committee Advisory Board

Purpose

The purpose of the Grants Advisory Board (the advisory board) is to educate and advise the Foundation’s President and Scattergood Foundation’s Board of Director’s Grants Committee concerning: a) current and anticipated community behavioral health needs in the Philadelphia region; b) evidence-based practices to address these needs; and c) organizations that exemplify best practices in the field. d) identify innovative approaches to existing problems which warrant consideration. The Advisory Board will be made up of approximately fifteen (15) members.

Membership will consist of a cross-section of experts to include providers, academics and researchers, public sector policy makers, and consumer representatives. The initial membership will be comprised of approximately fifteen people external to Scattergood, the members of the Foundation’s Grants Committee and the Foundation’s President. Members of this Committee are governed by the Foundation’s Conflict of Interest Statement.
