| The Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) and New York Yearly Meeting (NYYM) have both begun developing programs for seniors, their families and their Meetings on care and aging. The Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Care & Aging and the New York Yearly Meeting Aging Resources, Consultation and Help (ARCH) Program address the emotional, physical, social, financial and spiritual needs of seniors. The two programs are structured differently but, with the support of the Scattergood Foundation and the Friends Foundation for the Aging, will cooperate with one another to connect seniors and their support systems with resources and enrichment services. As part of their work, the two programs will develop a joint website to provide access to local, national and Quaker-specific resources for aging issues. |
