| The Public Health Management Corporation is a non-profit community health organization in Philadelphia. Scattergood has awarded PMHC a grant to launch a public interest journal dedicated to publicizing innovative non-profit work in the Philadelphia region. The Philadelphia Social Innovation Journal will be the first publication of its kind in the region. Available electronically, the journal will foster leadership and highlight successful practices in the non-profit social sector. The publishers of the journal hope that non-profit agencies will benefit from sharing their work with one another, with the goal of improving Philadelphia's social services and resources in the areas of public health, education, behavioral health, and others. |
