| The Scattergood Foundation has awarded a major grant to the Center for Bioethics of the University of Pennsylvania to establish a new center to examine the ethical dimensions of behavioral healthcare. Through educational outreach, presentations by local and visiting experts, internship and fellowship programs, and the establishment of an electronic clearinghouse, the Scattergood Program for the Applied Ethics of Behavioral Health will build a knowledge base on the topic accessible to scholars, policymakers, and practitioners; convene groups of experts in the field to generate ideas and action; and inspire and establish the next generation of practitioners and scholars. |
