On Saturday, November 22, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation, along with Friends Hospital, will be holding its semi-annual “Gardening with Friends” day to help spruce up the Hospital’s 100-acre campus, which received national historic landmark status in 1999. These clean-up days are greatly appreciated by the Foundation and Friends Hospital patients, staff and visitors.
Both adults and children are needed to participate in light gardening tasks such as raking, weeding, mulching, and picking up debris from the winter. Free lunch and bottled waters will be provided for our hungry gardeners.
